DSC OPERATION 7 ■■Position and time programming 1 2 A Distress call should include the ship's position and time. If no GPS is connected, your position and UTC (Universal 3 Time Coordinated) time should be manually input. is on the ‘W’ or ‘E’ position.
After entering the position, push [ENT] to program it.
