Installing and Replacing Motherboard Components How to Install and Remove the Motherboard Refer to your chassis manual for instructions on installing and removing the motherboard. The motherboard is secured to the chassis by seven screws. Figure 3 shows the locations of the mounting screw holes.  NOTES You will need a Phillips (#2 bit) screwdriver. Refer to Appendix B for regulatory requirements and installation instructions and precautions. WARNING This procedure should be done only by qualified technical personnel. Disconnect the computer from its power source before doing the procedures described here. How to Install and Remove the Motherboard
