BEFORE CALLING FOR SERVICE Check the following list to be sure a service call is really necessary. help you avoid an unneeded service call. Push plug firmly into wall outlet. Replace fuse with time delay type or reset circuit breaker. Push the power button. Unit was turned off and then on too quickly. TEMP Control set warmer than room temperature. Set unit off and wait 3 minutes before restarting. Set TEMP Control to lower temperature. The current interrupter device is triped Press the RESET button located on the power cord plug If the RESET button will not stay engaged, discontinue use of the air conditioner and contact a qualified service technician. AIR FROM UNIT DOES NOT FEEL COLD ENOUGH. Check if... Then... FAN SPEED set at LOW. Push FAN SPEED button to set at HI. TEMP Control set too warm. Room temperature below 70°F (21°C). Set TEMP Control to lower temperature. Cooling may not occur until room temperature rises above 70°F (21°C) Temperature sensing tube touching evaporator coil, located behind front grille.
