Return to the Top page Audio Setting Up Controlling General Audio 1 Touch [Audio Control]. 2 Set each item as follows. Loudness Turns the loudness control function on or off. If turned on, high and low tones are automatically enhanced during low volume. Settable only when zone function (P.97) is set to off. * If you have increased the volume first, then reduced the volume using the "Volume Offset", the sound generated if you suddenly switch to another source may be extremely loud. Fader #/Balance # Adjust the volume balance around the touched area. [2] and [3] adjust the right and left volume balance. [5] and [∞] adjust the front and rear volume balance. Volume Offset* Finely adjust the volume of the current source to minimize the difference in volume between different sources. Subwoofer Level Adjusts the subwoofer volume. This setting is not available when subwoofer is set to "None". See Speaker setup (P.90). Bass Boost Sets the amount of bass boost among "OFF"/ "Level1"/ "Level2"/ "Level3". 94 Equalizer Control You can adjust equalizer by selecting the optimized setting for each category. If you use , you can also adjust equalizer manually. 1 Touch [Equalizer]. Return to the Top page Audio Setting Up Controlling equalizer manually This setting cannot be performed when you select [iPod] in the Equalizer screen. 1 Touch [EQ] in the Equalizer screen. 2 Touch the screen and set the Graphic Equalizer as desired. Equalizer screen appears. operation Controlling EQ curves 1 Select EQ curve from [Natural], [Rock], [Pops], [Easy], [Top40], [Jazz], [Powerful], [iPod], and [User]. NOTE • [iPod] is available only during iPod source. Gain level (light green boxed area) Adjust the gain level by touching the each frequency bar. Touching [2], [3], [5] and [∞] can also adjust the level. Use [2] and [3] to select a frequency, and [5] and [∞] to set the level. EQ INIT Returns to the previous level which the gain level is adjusted. Flat Tone curve becomes flat. Bass EXT (Bass Extend Settings) When turned on, the frequency lower than 62.5 Hz is set to the same gain level as 62.5 Hz. Loudness When turned on, low and high tones are enhanced. Highway Sound Boosts a certain range of sound that becomes hard to hear due to road noise. See Highway sound setting (P.96). SW Level Adjusts the subwoofer volume. This setting is not available when subwoofer is set to "None". See Speaker setup (P.90). 95
