Relay recording (CT-2050/KXF-W6010 only) This function allows to record sound continuously from deck A to B. Since this unit is not designed for recording with metal (TYPE ) tapes, do not use metal tapes for recording. CT-2050/203/KXF-W6010/W4010 (En/M) 19 Preparation Make "Playback (recording) preparation". 0 (If relay recording is required, insert tapes in both decks A and B. Select the recording mode to set to "O" or "[" only.) Relay recording 1 Set the relay recording mode. RELAY REC : Keys and control used in the operations described on this page. "RELAY" lights up. 2 Perform auto-bias adjustment. (The bias adjustment is applied to deck B.) "AUTO BIAS"blinks. After approximately "AUTO BIAS" lightsup. 40 seconds AUTO BIAS 3 Adjust the recording level. ÷ The optimum bias is set in about 40 seconds, after which the deck enters the stop mode. ÷ Recording is possible even if the auto-bias adjustment operation is omitted. 1 Play the music source. 2 Set the record-pause mode. (deck A). 3 Adjust the recording balance and record- ing level. ^ 4 Stop playing the music source. 4 Start recording. 1 Press the REC/ARM (¶) key (of deck A). ¶REC/ARM 2 Play the music source from the beginning. ÷ Recording will start. ÷ Recording on deck B starts immediately after recording on deck A has completed. To cancel relay recording RELAY REC "RELAY" goes off. ÷ Press the RELAY REC key again. Note Relay recording cannot be performed if the REV.MODE key is set to """.
