8: Line and Tunnel Settings Line - Configuration Description Settings (continued) Parity Select the parity from the drop-down menu. The default is None. Data Bits Select the number of data bits from the drop-down menu. The default is 8. Stop Bits Select the number of stop bits from the drop-down menu. The default is 1. Flow Control Select the flow control from the drop-down menu. The default is None. Xon Char Specify the character to use to start the flow of data when Flow Control is set to Software. Prefix a decimal character with \ or a hexadecimal character with 0x, or provide a single printable character. The default Xon char is 0x11. Xoff Char Specify the character to use to stop the flow of data when Flow Control is set to Software. Prefix a decimal character with \ or a hexadecimal character with 0x, or provide a single printable character. The default Xoff char is 0x13. Gap Timer The driver forwards received serial bytes after the Gap Timer delay from the last character received. By default, the delay is four character periods at the current baud rate (minimum 1 ms). Threshold The driver will also forward received characters after Threshold bytes have been received. 3.
