Setting up and using the home screen applications Customizing the home screen using the Embedded Web Server Accessing the Embedded Web Server To access the Embedded Web Server, type your printer IP address or host name in the address field of your Web browser. Note: If you do not know the IP address or host name of the printer, then you can: • View the information on the printer control panel home screen, or in the TCP/IP section under the Network/Ports menu. • Print a network setup page or menu settings page, and then locate the information in the TCP/IP section. Customizing the home screen 1 From the Embedded Web Server, click Settings > General Settings > Home screen customization. 2 Select the home screen application to be displayed. Note: You can also clear the check box to hide the home screen application. 3 Click Submit. Note: If the application is not listed, then access the application configuration settings by clicking Settings > Device Solutions > Solutions (eSF) > name of the application.
