Maintaining the NSS Restoring a Configuration File 7 Restoring a Configuration File You can easily overwrite the current configuration settings with the configuration settings in a saved configuration file. NOTE: If you restore a configuration file that was saved in an older version of the NSS firmware than the current version, check the settings after you restore the file to ensure they were updated correctly. To restore a configuration file: STEP 1 From the Manager Menu, click Admin Configuration. The Configuration Manager page appears. STEP 2 If the configuration file is not located on a volume in the NSS, copy it onto a USB flash device and then insert the USB flash device into the AUX-1 port. STEP 3 From the Stored Configuration Location field, select the location of the saved configuration file. STEP 4 Click Update. Cisco Small Business NSS2000 Series Administration Guide 130
