Creating Volume Quota for a User or Group
You can set up a quota on a volume for each user or group. This quota limits the
user or group to the allocated amount of space within the volume. To give certain
users or groups assigned to a volume full access to the space on the volume, do
not create a quota for that user or group.
NOTE
Before you can create quota on an encrypted volume, make sure that it is unlocked.
You also need to set up the
Warn For time
for each volume from the
Volume Quota
page. The Warn For time only affects individual quota that was created after the
Warn For time
was set.
To create a quota for a user or group:
STEP 1
From the
Manager Menu
, click
Access
ยจ
Quota
.
The
Filesystem Quota
page appears.
STEP 2
Click
Create Quota
.
