AWARD® BIOS Setup Power Management Setup The Power Management Setup allows you to configure your system to most effectively save energy while operating in a manner consistent with your own style of computer use. ACPI Function This item allows you to enable/disable the Advanced Configuration and Power Management (ACPI) function. If your operation system is ACPI-aware, such as Windows® 98SE/2000/ME, select Enabled. Settings are Enabled and Disabled. ACPI Suspend Type This item specifies the power saving modes for ACPI function. Settings are: S1(POS), S3 (STR), S1 & S3. S1 (POS) The S1 sleeping state is low wake-up latency sleeping state.
