Using Caller ID Calling line identification (caller ID) displays the phone number for incoming calls. For Incoming Calls: The phone displays the caller's name when the name is stored in your phonebook, or Incoming Call when caller ID information is not available. For Outgoing Calls: Other phones can display your phone number when you call them or send a message. To hide your number for the next call or message, press > Settings > In-Call Setup > My Caller ID > Next Call Only. Canceling an Incoming Call While the phone is ringing: Press IGNORE ( ) to cancel the incoming call. Depending on your phone settings and the type of subscription you have, the call may be forwarded to another number, or the caller may hear a busy signal. Turning Off a Call Alert You can turn off your phone's incoming call alert before answering the call: Press left or right turn off the alert.
