Email & Messaging Read Text and MMS Messages When you receive a message your phone plays an alert and shows New Message with a message indicator such as C. 1. On the home screen, press R > Text Messages or MMS. If you do not see your messages, press Menu > Folders > Inbox. 2. Press the navigation key ] to select a message.
