Configuring Wireless Bridging and Repeating (WDS) You can build large bridged wireless networks by using the modem router to configure a wireless distribution system (WDS). On the main menu, below the Advanced heading, select Wireless Settings, and then select the WDS radio button. The following screen displays: Figure 5-7 Note: Unless you change the security configuration, the wireless bridging and repeating feature uses the default security profile to send and receive traffic.
