When operating the touch-panel display, hold the stylus as you would an ordinary pen, being careful not to touch the display with your hands. There is no need to exert pressure when using the stylus, as the panel will respond to a light touch. Using too much pressure could damage the display. When you have finished using the touch-panel display, close the panel's cover and return the stylus to its compartment, pushing it in until the black plastic cap at the top of the stylus latches with the camera's body. Note: The touch panel should be operated only with the stylus provided, as other objects might damage the display. Before You Begin : Using the Stylus
