Setting the Time and Date When you turn on your camera for the first time, you will need to set the time and date. Open the touch-panel display and press the MENU key with the tip of the stylus to bring up the COOLPIX 300's main menu. MENU RECORDING PLAY BACK SLIDE SHOW SET UP STATUS Select SET UP to bring up the setup menu and then press Next (w). Choose DATE from the menu that appears.
