Settings Keypad tones-Set the volume of your keypad tones (or turn them off). Warning tones-Turn warning and confirmation tones On or Off. Alert for-Define which caller groups the selected profile will accept or decline. ■ Enhancement settings The enhancement settings menu is shown only if the phone is or has been connected to a compatible enhancement. Important: The headset may affect your ability to hear sounds around you. Do not use the headset in situations that may endanger your safety. In the standby mode, select Menu > Settings > Enhancement settings > Headset, Handsfree, Loopset, TTY/TDD (carrier dependent), or Charger. Headset Select an option of your choice, to enter the submenu and modify its settings. Default profile-Choose the profile you wish to be automatically activated when a headset is connected. Automatic answer > On or Off-Answered calls are automatically after one ring when a headset is connected. Handsfree Select an option, to enter the submenu and modify its settings. Loopset The LPS-4 Loopset (for use with T-coil equipped hearing aids) is recommended for use with your phone. Select the option of your choice, to enter the submenu and select Use loopset > Yes or No to modify the settings. TTY/TDD This feature is dependent on your carrier. In addition to the Nokia phone, you will need the following for TTY/TDD communication: • A TTY/TDD device that is cellular ready or cellular compatible. • A cable for connecting the TTY/TDD to your Nokia phone, usually supplied by the manufacturer of the TTY/TDD device. 45
