6. Settings This section describes some phone settings that allow you to customize your phone to suit your preferences and that you probably won't change very often. Automatic redial Use Menu 4 1 2 to turn this feature on or off. When this feature is on and the wireless network is busy, your phone redials a number up to three times. This feature does not redial to a busy phone number. To stop the call attempts, press Quit or . Clock Your phone has an internal clock that can be displayed on the start screen. If you remove the battery for longer than a couple of seconds, the time is lost. The next time you turn on the phone, you will be asked to enter the time. Setting the time using the network To set the time on your phone using the network (the default setting), use Menu 7 2 2 1. If your phone is unable to get the time from the network, you are prompted to enter the time manually. (For example, your phone may not be able to get the time from the network if you don't have digital coverage.) Setting the time manually Use Menu 7 2 2 2 to enter the current time. Use two digits for both hours and minutes (for example, enter 1:30 as 0130). If the clock's time format is set to am/pm, you are asked to choose am or pm. Note: Pressing does not work on this screen. If you make a mistake, re-enter all four digits. 22

6. Settings
