Sound and video applications use the loudspeaker by default. Using the loudspeaker makes it easier to use other applications while in a call. To start using the loudspeaker during an already active call, select Options→ Activate loudsp.. A tone is played, is shown in the navigation bar, and the volume indicator changes. The loudspeaker cannot be activated when you have connected a headset to the phone. Warning: Do not hold the device near your ear when the loudspeaker is in use, because the volume may be extremely loud. Shared memory The following features in this device may share memory: contacts, text messages, and multimedia messages, images and ringing tones, Video recorder, RealPlayerTM, calendar and to-do notes, and downloaded applications. Use of one or more of these features may reduce the memory available for the remaining features sharing memory. For example, saving many multimedia messages may use all of the available memory. Your device may display a message that the memory is full when you try to use a shared memory feature. In this case, delete some of the information or entries stored in the shared memory features before continuing.
