To choose the connection port To make the connection between your Nokia 9290 Communicator and PC Suite work properly, the communication port used must match the PC Suite settings. To check the port, proceed as follows: 1 Double-click the Connection icon. 2 Select the port where the cable of your Nokia 9290 Communicator is attached or the port that you use for infrared connection. 3 Click OK to close the dialog box. To change the location where the files are stored The PC Suite backup process copies the files on your Nokia 9290 Communicator to a folder on your PC. The folder may also contain other data such as backup and synchronization data, file conversion preferences, etc. The default location of this folder is C:\PC Suite. To change the default location, proceed as follows: 1 Double-click the Data Location icon. 2 Click Browse. 3 Browse for the new location and click OK. All the Nokia 9290 Communicator files are moved to the new location. 29
