1 2 4 Quick Focus Distance The focal distance used in quick focus picture-taking is set as follows. 1 Set the mode dial to "P", "A" or "M". 2 Press the [Menu] button. The first menu will appear on the LCD monitor. 3 Align the cursor with dial. with the top / bottom point of the jog 4 Press the right point of the jog dial. 5 Select the focal distance with the top / bottom point of the jog dial. Focal distance can be selected from among 0.3 m, 0.35m, 0.4 m, 0.5m, 0.6m, 0.8m, 1 m, 1.2m, 1.5 m, 2 m, 2.5 m, 3.5 m, 5 m, 8 m, 15 m or ∞. (1 ft., 1.15ft, 1.3 ft., 1.6ft, 2 ft., 2.6ft, 3.3 ft., 3.9ft., 4.9 ft., 6.6 ft., 8.2 ft., 9.8 ft., 16.4 ft., 26.2 ft., 49.2 ft., or ∞) 6 Press the [OK] button. The focal distance will be entered and the cursor will return to "QF SET". 1 0.4m (1.3 ft.)Quick focus TELE WIDE Quick Focus Range Quick focus range is given above by distance.
