The Week starts setting controls the Day, Week, Month, Year, and List Views in Calendar and all other aspects of your phone that display a calendar. Setting date and time formats Formats Preferences enables you to select number conventions based on geographic regions. For example, in the United Kingdom, time often is expressed using a 24-hour clock. In the United States, time is expressed using a 12-hour clock with an AM or PM suffix. All the built-in applications on your Treo use the Format Preferences settings. 1. Go to Applications and select Prefs . 2. Select Select Formats. 3. Set any of the following preferences: • Preset to: The standard number conventions for your country. When you select a country, the other Formats Preferences are automatically set to that country's conventions. You can also edit each option individually. • Time: The time format. Select HH:MM to display a 24-hour clock. • Date: The date format. • Week starts: The first day of the week (usually Sunday or Monday). • Numbers: The format for numbers with decimal points and commas. 4. Select Done. 152 :: Date and time settings
