With a PC With a PC 1 Connecting to a PC (for nonlinear editing/file transfer) Non-linear editing of video data on SD cards can be performed by connecting the unit via the USB cable to a PC for editing. Operating environment (mass storage) ∫ For Windows PC IBM PC/AT compatible PC OS Windows 7 (32 bit/64 bit) or SP1 Windows Vista (32 bit) (SP1/SP2) Windows XP (32 bit) (SP3) CPU Windows 7/Windows Vista: 1.0 GHz or higher 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor Windows XP: Intel Pentium III 450 MHz or higher or Intel Celeron 400 MHz or higher RAM Windows 7: 1 GB or more (32 bit)/2 GB or more (64 bit) Windows Vista Home Basic: 512 MB or more Windows Vista Home Premium/Business/Ultimate/Enterprise: 1 GB or more Windows XP: 128 MB or more (256 MB or more recommended) Interface USB port Other requirements Mouse or equivalent pointing device ≥ Even if the system requirements mentioned in these operating instructions are fulfilled, some PCs cannot be used. ≥ Operation is not guaranteed in the following cases. j Operation on an upgraded OS. j Operation on an OS other than the one pre-installed. j When a hub or other device is connected between the unit and a PC. ≥ Not compatible with Microsoft Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows Me, Windows NT and Windows 2000. ≥ The USB equipment operates with the driver installed as standard in the OS. 86 VQT3Q78
