Recording [Flash Adjust.] Applicable modes: Adjust the flash output if the recorded pictures are too bright or too dark. Note • You can adjust from [j2 EV] to [i2 EV] in steps of [1/3 EV]. • Select [0 EV] to return to the original flash output. • [i] or [j] is displayed on the flash icon in the screen when the flash level is adjusted. [Red-Eye Removal] Applicable modes: When Red-Eye Reduction ([ ], [ ]) is selected, Red-Eye Removal is performed whenever the flash is used. The camera automatically detects red-eye and corrects the picture. Settings: [ON]/[OFF] Note • Only available when [AF Mode] is set to [š] and Face Detection is active. • Under certain circumstances, red-eye cannot be corrected. • It will be fixed to [ON] during the Intelligent Auto Mode. • [Red-Eye Removal] cannot be used in the following cases. - [3D Photo Mode] (Scene Mode) [Conversion] Applicable modes: With the optional conversion lenses, you can record even more faraway pictures and take close-up pictures of smaller subjects. Settings Description of settings [ ] When you attach the tele conversion lens. [ C ] When you attach the close-up lens. [OFF] - Note • Refer to P194 for details about attaching the lens. • Ensure that [Conversion] is set to [OFF] when not using a conversion lens. • [Conversion] cannot be used in the following cases. - [Panorama Shot]/[3D Photo Mode] (Scene Mode) • Read the operating instructions of the conversion lens for details. - 145 -
