Recording 3 Press 3/4 to select the Auto Focus Mode and then press [MENU/SET]. Settings Description of settings [š] [] [] ([Face Detection]) ([AF Tracking])¢ ([23-Area])¢ The camera automatically detects the person's face. The focus and exposure can then be adjusted to fit that face no matter what portion of the picture it is in. (max. 15 areas) Focus and exposure can be adjusted to a specified subject. Focus will keep on following the subject even if it moves. (Dynamic tracking) Up to 23 points for each AF area can be focused. This is effective when the subject is not in the center of the screen. (AF area frame will be same as image aspect ratio setting.) [Ø] ([1-Area]) The camera focuses on the subject in the AF area on the center of the screen. ¢ [Ø] will be used during motion picture recording. Note • It will be fixed to [š] when the [Face Recog.] is set to [ON]. • It is not possible to set [š] in the following cases. - [Panorama Shot]/[Panning]/[Night Scenery]/[Handheld Night Shot]/[Food] (Scene Mode) - [Soft Focus] (Creative Control Mode) • It is not possible to set [ ] in the following cases. - [Panorama Shot] (Scene Mode) - [Sepia]/[Dynamic Monochrome]/[High Dynamic]/[Toy Effect]/[Soft Focus] (Creative Control Mode) - When [Photo Style] is set to [Monochrome] • Only [š] or [Ø] can be set during Creative Video Mode. • [AF Mode] is fixed to [Ø] in the following cases. - [Miniature Effect] (Creative Control Mode) (DMC-FZ200) - [High Speed Video] (Creative Video Mode) - 93 -
