Using a shelf, floor, and window camera Protecting individual images 1 From the [HomeHawk] app home screen, tap ® [Recording List]. R The recording list screen is displayed ( "Viewing the recording list screen", Page 98). 2 Select the desired camera. 3 Tap , , or the displayed date to select a recording date. 4 Select the desired recording. 5 Tap . R Tap to remove the protection. R is displayed in the thumbnail of images to indicate that the image is protected. Protecting multiple images 1 From the [HomeHawk] app home screen, tap ® [Recording List]. R The recording list screen is displayed ( "Viewing the recording list screen", Page 98). 2 Select the desired camera. 3 Tap , , or the displayed date to select a recording date. 4 Tap [Select] ® . 5 Select the desired recordings. R is displayed in the thumbnail of images to indicate that the image is protected. R Tap / displayed next to the date to select or deselect all images shown in the list. R Filter categories ( "Filters", Page 100) can be used to display to the desired recordings. 6 When finished, tap [Protect]. Detection area You can select which areas of the camera image are monitored for motion detection. This allows you to ignore motion in certain areas of the camera's image. You can also test which areas are actually detected while viewing live images from the camera. This is useful when determining where to install cameras, and also which areas you should enable or disable detection for. 1 From the [HomeHawk] app home screen, tap ® [Settings]. 2 Tap [Camera Settings] and select the desired camera. 3 Tap [Detection] ® [Set Detection Area]. 4 Tap the desired areas of the camera image.
