Slow-Speed-Synchro B Bulb 413 Bulb-Synchro Slow-Speed-Synchro (Red-eye eduction flash mode) Bulb-Synchro Red-eye reduction flash model 0 • In the Slow-Shutter Speed, Slow-Speed-Synchro, Bulb or Bulb-Synchro mode, if the mode button() is pressed, the exposure mode changes as in the normal mode. • In the Slow-Speed-Synch and red-eye reduction flash modes or the Bulb-Synchro and red-eye reduction flash modes, if the mode button is pressed, the exposure mod€ changes as in the red-eye reduction flash mode. RED-EYE REDUCTION FLASH MODE With the Red-eye reduction flash mode, the flash discharges two consecutive times. The first flash discharges just before the shutter is released (low-power output) which causes the irises of the eyes to close down (contract). Then, the second flash discharges (normal flash output), which reduces the possibilities of the red-eye effect significantly.
