REPLACING

BATTERIES

Use

two

3V

lithium

batteries

(CR-123A

or

DL

-123A)

-

Remove

sand

or

water

on

the

camera

or

your

hands,

if

any,

before

replacing

the

batteries.

Make

sure

that

the

power

is

off

before

replacing

the

batteries.

Open

the

battery

chamber

cover

by

rotating

the

cover

lock

in

the

direction

of

the

arrow

as

shown.

Insert

two

lithium

batteries,

aligning

the

batteries

with

the

"

+

"

or

"

—

"

indication.

Make

sure

that

the

groove

of

the

battery

chamber

lock

is

aligned

with

the

(e)

mark.

Press

in

the

cover

and

then

rotate

the

cover

lock

counter-

clockwise

to

secure

it

in

place.

If

the

battery

is

correctly

loaded,

the

zoom

lens

moves

slightly

and

the

motor

operates

for

a

few

seconds.

Caution:

Replace

all

batteries

at

the

same

time.

Do

not

mix

battery

brands,

types

or

old

batteries

with

new

ones.

Otherwise,

explosion

or

overheating

might

result.
