• All warnings are given by blinking the indicators on the CENTIC panel and in the viewfinder. • The out-of-metering range warning means the subjects is too bright or too dark to be measured with the camera's built-in exposure meter. • The out-of-coupling range warning means the current combination of shutter speed and aperture cannot be used even if it is within the metering range. • See page 38 for the metering and coupling ranges. • The symbol in the table at left indicates blinking. How to photograph a subject in the out-of-metering range • If the subject is too bright, use ND filters (available commercially). • If the subject is too dark, you will have to use a flash or other lighting equipment. 27 •
