ENGLISH 1 About this User Manual This manual contains all information you will need to initially install and operate your new TV. Also read the help text which are being displayed at the bottom of the screen. Please have the Model and Product number (which you can find at the back or the bottom of your television set or on the packaging) ready, before calling the Philips customer support service. 1.2 Analogue Broadcasting When your area is not broadcasting digital terrestrial signals, the TV will only receive analogue channels. When on a frequency where a DVB signal is broadcasted, the tuner will try to decode an analogue TV channel and hence will not show video. Digital TV and radio channels are only available and reproduced: • when Digital Video Broadcasting Terrestrial (DVB-T) is applicable in your local area; • and if DVB-T signal is supported by your TV for the country you live in.
