English Controlling the Rest of Your System Clearing the Preset Codes Clears all presets, all learned functions and restores the factory presets. 1 While pressing the REMOTE SETUP button press and hold the STANDARD button for three seconds. The LED on the remote control blinks three times indicating all the preset codes have been cleared. This could let you, for example, use the remote control to set up and watch a DVD and then use the remote control to rewind a tape in your VCR while you continue to watch the DVD on your DVD player. When the direct selection is on any INPUT/Control Mode Select button you press will change the function of both the receiver and the remote control.
