Unpacking Remove the machine and all accessories from the packing carton. Make sure that the machine has been packed with the following items: Starter Toner Cartridge AC Power Cord* CD-ROM** Quick Install Guide USB Cable Quick Guide Telephone Line Cord (For North America and China only) Brand plaque*** (May already be affixed to the machine in some regions) Key layout sheet (May already be affixed to the machine in some regions) * The appearance of the power cord may differ according to your country's specifications. ** The CD-ROM contains the Type 101 driver, the Operating Instructions and the Adobe Acrobat Reader program. *** Peel off the brand plaque's backing, and then stick down the plaque in the control panel's left corner. 1.2 GETTING STARTED
