Network setup Some menus may not appear in the display depending on options or models. If so, it is not applicable to your machine (see "Accessing the menus" on page 21). For network model, You can also use this feature from the SyncThru™ Web Service. Open the Web browser from your networked computer and type the IP address of your machine. When SyncThru™ Web Service opens, click Settings > Network Settings (see "Using SyncThru™ Web Service" on page 110). • Press (Menu)> Network on the control panel, Option TCP/IP (IPv4) Description Selects the appropriate protocol and configure parameters to use the network environment (see "Setting IP address" on page 53). There are lots of parameters to be set. If you are not sure, leave as is, or consult the network administrator. TCP/IP (IPv6) Selects this option to use the network environment through IPv6 (see "IPv6 configuration" on page 50). Option Ethernet Description Configure the network transmission speed or port. Turn the power off and on after you change this option. Clear Settings Reverts the network settings to the default values. Turn the power off and on after you change this option. Network Configuration This list shows information on your machine's network connection and configuration. You can set whether to use SyncThru™ Web Service or not. Protocol Managem ent HTTP WINS Turn the power off and on after you change this option to Off. You can configure the WINS server.
