Portable Keyboard (optional accessory) The optional keyboard is similar to the keyboard for your PC, only smaller. The keyboard is useful with applications that may require extensive typing. However, you can also use the keyboard to shortcut to applications. A list of shortcut keys is included later in this section. Attach the keyboard 1. Lay the keyboard on a flat surface near the Smartphone. 2. Plug the connector from the keyboard into the power/ accessory interface on the bottom end of the Smartphone. A tone sounds and a message appears in the display. 3. Press the left soft key ( ) OK to enable the keyboard, or press the right soft key ( ) Cancel to disable the keyboard. 104
