Messaging Tip: Use T9 text entry to write messages, it's much faster than the traditional multi-tap method. 7. When you're finished writing the message, press the right soft key Menu. 8. Press to highlight Send Message and press . SMS messages are limited to 160 characters. If you send an SMS message of more than 160 characters, it is broken up and sent in separate messages until the entire message is delivered. Charges apply for the delivery of each message according to your billing plan. Tip: You can send e-mail messages while in SMS mode. Simply enter the e-mail address of your recipient (instead of the phone number) in the To: field. Some options may not be available depending upon your location within the New Message screen. These options will appear in a lighter text than other options.
