2. Touch the Roaming Mode field and touch one of the following options: Ⅲ Automatic to seek service on the Nationwide Sprint Network. When Sprint service is unavailable, the device searches for an alternate system. Ⅲ Sprint Only to access only the Sprint network and prevent roaming on other networks. Call Guard Your device has two ways of alerting you when you are roaming off the Nationwide Sprint Network, the onscreen roaming icon and Call Guard. Call Guard makes it easy to manage your roaming by requiring an extra step before you can place or answer a roaming call. (This additional step is not required when you make or receive calls while on the Nationwide Sprint Network.) To turn Call Guard on or off: 1. Press and touch Main ( ) > Settings > Roaming. 2. Move the Call Guard slider to the On or Off position. Note Call Guard is turned off by default on your device. Voice dialing and speed dialing are not available when you are roaming with Call Guard enabled. To place roaming calls with Call Guard on: 1. Press and touch Dialer ( ). 2. Enter + area code + seven digit number and touch TTaAlkLK where the phone number now appears. 3. Touch Roam Call. To answer incoming roaming calls with Call Guard on: ᮣ Touch AnTsawlker to answer an incoming call. (A message will be displayed notifying you that roaming charges will apply.)
