Sending Documents Sending a Fax by Automatic Dialing Speed Dialing If the number you want to dial has been programmed in a Speed Dial number, you can dial it by pressing SPEED DIAL and then entering the Speed Dial number. 1 Load the document(s). SEND READY will appear in the display. • Press RESOLUTION and/or CONTRAST to set the resolution and contrast if needed. • To send the document ahead of other documents waiting for transmission, press PRIORITY . • To send the document directly from the feeder (not through memory), press DOCUMENT M/? . (Flip up the Rapid Key overlay if it is down.) 2 SPEED DIAL Press and then enter the Speed Dial number by pressing the numeric keys. • If you enter less than 2 digits for the Speed Dial number, press START/ ENTER to complete the entry. 3 Check the display. If the name or number shown is correct, press START/ ENTER . STOP (If not, press and then repeat Step 2.) 43
