Improving Print Quality Cleaning the housing Wipe the surface and external parts of the machine with a soft cloth. Caution! Do not use solvents such as benzene or thinner. Solvents may damage or discolor the machine. Improving Print Quality If print quality is not satisfactory, first try aligning the print cartridges as explained on page 26. If the print quality is still not satisfactory after aligning the print cartridges, clean the cartridges as follows: 1 Press these keys: The display will show: CLEAN NOZZLES PRESS START KEY FUNCTION 5 4 2 Press the START key. • The Color Inkjet prints out a nozzle test pattern similar to the one shown below. Cleaning the housing

If print quality is not satisfactory, first try aligning the print cartridges
