Click the
Start
button, point to
Settings
, and select
Control Panel

Double-click the
Network
icon. The
Network
dialog box will appear. On the
Configuration
tab, see if
File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks
appears in the list of installed network components. If it appears, click the
OK
button and go to Step 8. If it does not appear, continue from Step 3.

Click the
Add
button on the
Configuration
tab.
4.
Select
Service
from the list of network component types and click
Add
.
5.
Select
File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks
and click
OK
.
6.
Click
OK
in the
Network
dialog box.
If you are asked for your Windows
Me CD-ROM, insert the CD-ROM into
your CD-ROM drive and click
OK
.
