CD, CD-R and CD-RW Operation - Playing a CD - SD-AS10 34 Playing a CD (continued) " To play in the desired order (programmed play) You can play tracks in the desired order. 21 tracks can be programmed. 1 Press the DISC SELECT button, and then press the DISC 1 - DISC 5 button. 2 In the stop mode, set the MODE 1/ MODE 2 switch to MODE 1 and press the PROGRAM button. The programming screen is displayed. TRACK 01 [18] PROGRAM LIST ADD DELETE PLAY CLEAR To repeat the programmed play: During programmed play, press the REPEAT button twice. Programmed tracks play repeatedly. Notes: ! Programming cannot be performed while paused or in the playback mode. ! Programmed play is prohibited on some discs. SET TRACK VALUE Track select Item Confirmation area area list area 3 Press the or button to select the desired track. 4 Press the button to move to the item area. 5 Press the or button to select "ADD" in item area, and press the ENTER button. ! The number is saved in the confirmation list area. ! Press the button, and repeat steps 3 - 5 to program other tracks. 6 Press the or button to select "PLAY" in item area, and press the ENTER button. ! The unit stops after playing the tracks in the programmed order. ! The programmed contents will be stored until the disc is removed. To change the programmed contents: 1 In the stop mode, set the MODE 1/MODE 2 switch to MODE 1 and press the PRO- GRAM button. 2 Press the button to move to the item area. 3 Press the or button to select the desired item. "ADD"* Adds a track to the program. "INSERT" Inserts a track between programmed tracks. The track is inserted above (before) the selected track. "DELETE" Deletes the selected track. "PLAY" Starts the programmed play. "CLEAR" Deletes the program. * "ADD" changes to "INSERT" when selecting tracks in the confirmation list area. 4 Press the ENTER button. " To play in random order (random play) The tracks on the disc can be played in random order automatically. 1 In the stop mode, set the MODE 1/ MODE 2 switch to MODE 1 and press the RANDOM button. 2 Press the button. All tracks play in random order. To cancel random play, press the RANDOM button. When you press the button, the current random play is canceled. Notes: ! The main unit stops after playing a disc and does not switch to discs automatically. ! Random play is not allowed during programmed playback. ! In random play, the unit will select and play tracks automatically. (You cannot select the order of the tracks.) ! In random play, repeat play is prohibited.
