Advanced Recording Operations Using the fader function When the OVERLAP, WIPE or DOT indicator appears Your camcorder automatically stores the image recorded on a tape. At this stage, the picture may not be recorded clearly, depending on the tape condition. While using the bounce function, you cannot use the following functions: - Exposure - Focus - Zoom - Picture effect Note on the bounce function The BOUNCE indicator does not appear in the following mode or functions: - D ZOOM is set to 20× or 120× in the menu settings - 16:9 wide - Picture effect - PROGRAM AE While in MEMORY mode You cannnot use the fader function. 39

When the OVERLAP, WIPE or DOT indicator appears
Your camcorder automatically stores the image recorded on a tape. At this stage, the
picture may not be recorded clearly, depending on the tape condition.
While using the bounce function, you cannot use the following functions:
– Exposure
– Focus
– Zoom
– Picture effect
Note on the bounce function
The BOUNCE indicator does not appear in the following mode or functions:
– D ZOOM is set to 20
×
or 120
×
in the menu settings
– 16:9 wide
– Picture effect
– PROGRAM AE
While in MEMORY mode
You cannnot use the fader function.
