Playing back a tape with digital effects During playback, you can process a scene using the digital effect functions: STILL, FLASH, LUMI. and TRAIL. (1) In the playback/playback pause mode, press FN and select PAGE2 (p. 16). (2) Press DIG EFFT. The screen to select a desired digital effect mode appears. (3) Select a desired digital effect mode. In the STILL or LUMI. mode, the picture where you select the mode is stored in memory as a still picture. (4) Press -/+ to adjust the effect. Refer to page 41 for details. Notes •You cannot process externally input scenes using the digital effect function. •To record pictures that you have processed using the digital effect, record the pictures on the VCR using your camcorder as a player. Pictures processed by the digital effect function Pictures processed by the digital effect function are not output through the DV IN/ OUT jack. During playback, you can process a scene using the digital effect functions: STILL,
FLASH, LUMI. and TRAIL.
