Adjusting the "SOUND" setting The "SOUND" menu allows you to adjust the sound setting. 1 Press MENU. MONO/STEREO: Select "STEREO" or "MONO" for a stereo broadcast. MONO/A/B: Select "A" for sound channel 1, "B" for sound channel 2 or "MONO" for monaural channel if available. Notes • If the signal is very weak, the sound becomes monaural automatically. • If the stereo sound is noisy when receiving a NICAM programme, select "MONO." The sound becomes monaural, but the noise is reduced. Select "RESET" and press OK to reset the sound to the factory preset settings. To return to the normal screen Press MENU.
