How to Search by Elapsed Playing Time Time Search You can locate a particular point on a CD by specifying the elapsed playing time from the beginning of the disc. Locate the FRAME/TIME, SEARCH/NEXT and number keys on the Remote Commander. To Enter the Elapsed Playing Time 1 Press the FRAME/TIME button. 2 Enter the desired multi-digit number corresponding to the time you want found.* Sample Entry for CDs To locate the 12-minute, 5second point, press the number keys in the order on the right: 3 Press SEARCH/NEXT on the Remote. FRAME/TIME ( ;JI "00.00" appears in the front panel display. * 0 el 0 0 * * U * Nt 104 *OM IMO* nn nn LI LI. LI U Enter four digits. O.4 0.4 0 4 0 SEARCH/NEXT ID If you press the wrong key, press BACK to clear the number, then enter the correct number. Play starts from the time specified in step 2. To Cancel Time Search [ CLEAR i STOP Before pressing the SEARCH/NEXT button, Or ■ press CLEAR. If you have already pressed the SEARCH/NEXT button, press STOP (II). In addition to normal play mode, you can conduct Time Search while in Repeat or Pause mode.
