Table of Contents Menu 47 Playing Music Analyzing songs on the player If you transferred songs other than by using Content Transfer or Media Manger for WALKMAN and want to listen to them using the "SensMe™ Channels," analyze them on the player. SensMe™ Channels BACK/HOME button OPTION/PWR OFF button 5-way button Index  Press and hold the BACK/HOME button until the Home menu appears.  Press the button to select (SensMe™ Channels), and then press the  button to confirm.  Press the OPTION/PWR OFF button to display the option menu. The option menu appears.  Press the button to select "Updating Channels," and then press the  button to confirm. The player starts analyzing songs. When the analysis is finished, the "SensMe™ Channels" screen appears. To stop analyzing Press the BACK/HOME button to stop analyzing. The songs that had been analyzed until the point where you stopped analyzing are playable by "SensMe™ Channels." Notes  If songs without analysis are transferred to the player, "There is an unanalyzed song. Please select Updating Channels from Options menu." appears.  The player analyzes all songs at once. You cannot analyze songs respectively.  The results of the analysis may vary between the player, the software, and the other devices.  If you change the channels, the analyzed songs using "Updating Channels" are played back from 45 seconds into the songs. And, if the song is less than 90 seconds, the playback starts from the exact middle of the song.

Analyzing songs on the player
If you transferred songs other than by using Content Transfer or Media Manger
for WALKMAN and want to listen to them using the “SensMe™ Channels,”
analyze them on the player.

SensMe™ Channels
Press and hold the BACK/HOME button until the Home menu
appears.
Press the

button to select
(SensMe™ Channels), and
then press the
button to confirm.
Press the OPTION/PWR OFF button to display the option menu.
The option menu appears.
Press the

/
button to select “Updating Channels,” and then
press the
button to confirm.
The player starts analyzing songs.
When the analysis is finished, the “SensMe™ Channels” screen appears.
To stop analyzing
Press the BACK/HOME button to stop analyzing. The songs that had been
analyzed until the point where you stopped analyzing are playable by “SensMe™
Channels.”
Notes
