Erasing the cassette memory data You can erase data stored in cassette memory, each item's data can be erased separately. You can also erase all items' data once. Erasing each item's data separately (1) Set the POWER switch to CAMERA or VCR. (2) Press MENU, then turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select ITEM ERASE in , then press the dial. (3) Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select the item that you want to erase its data, then press the dial. Item INDEX ALL TITLE ALL DATE ALL PHOTO ALL Meaning Erases all the index data. Erases all the title data. Erases all the date data. Erases all the photo data. (4) Make sure that the item is the one you want to erase, and turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select OK, then press the dial. OK changes to EXECUTE. (5) Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select EXECUTE, then press the dial. The ERASING flashes on the screen. When the item is erased, the COMPLETE is displayed.
