The display changes as follows when you press the DATA CODE on the Remote Commander: date/time t varioussettings(SteadyShot,exposure,whitebalance,gain,shutter speed,aperturevalue) t noindicator To not display various settings Set DATA CODE to DATE in the menu settings (p. 222). The display changes as follows when you press DATA CODE : date/time ynoindicator Various settings Various settings are your camcorder's information when you have recorded. In the recording, the various settings will not be displayed. When you use the data code, bars (-- -- --) appear if: - Ablankportionofthetapeisbeingplayedback. - Thetapeisunreadableduetotapedamageornoise. - Thetapewasrecordedbyacamcorderwithoutthedateandtimeset. Data code When you connect your camcorder to the TV, the data code appears on the TV screen. Remaining battery time indicator during playback The indicator indicates the approximate continuous playback time. The indicator may not be correct, depending on the conditions in which you are playing back. When you close the LCD panel and open it again, it takes about one minute for the correct remaining battery time to be displayed. 44
