This is not a malfunction. When you press PHOTO on the Remote Commander Your camcorder immediately records the image that is on the screen when you press the button. To use the tape photo recording during the tape recording You cannot check an image on the screen by pressing PHOTO lightly. Press PHOTO deeper. The still image is then recorded for about seven seconds, and your camcorder returns to the standby. To record clear still images with little unsteadiness We recommend that you record on a "Memory Stick" using the Memory Photo recording. 52
