The network connection starts. The status of the network connection is displayed using the following icons. "TC has been synced." appears on the screen when synchronization is successful. b Notes • There may be an offset of several frames after timecode synchronization. • The timecode advance may become non-contiguous at the instant the timecode is synchronized. If this occurs, the timecode output on SDI OUT and HDMI OUT will also be non-contiguous. • Timecode synchronization is not performed if a camera is currently recording, in order to maintain a contiguous timecode. • For lengthy continuous recording, periodic timecode synchronization cannot be performed, which may lead to an offset of several frames per hour. • When a camera is turned off, Wireless TC LINK also stops. When the camera is turned on again, Wireless TC LINK is automatically executed. 10To exit Wireless TC LINK, press the MENU button. b Notes • The timecode continues to advance contiguously when Wireless TC LINK is stopped. To synchronize the timecode once only at the start, stop Wireless TC LINK before use after synchronizing the timecode. • After Wireless TC LINK is stopped, you can execute Wireless TC LINK again by performing only step 9 again in the above procedure. b Notes • The Wireless TC LINK function is not available when using the camcorder in the following states. - During movie recording/playback - During thumbnail display - SLOW & QUICK (S&Q MOTION, SUPER SLOW MOTION) - When executing other network functions - AIRPLANE MODE Continued , 97 Using Network Functions
