Choose the menu LLDP→Basic Config→Global Config to load the following page. Figure 14-1 Global Configuration The following entries are displayed on this screen:  Global Config LLDP: Choose to enable/disable LLDP.  Parameters Config Transmit Interval: Hold Multiplier: Transmit Delay: Reinit Delay: Notification Interval: Fast Start Count: This parameter indicates the interval at which LLDP frames are transmitted on behalf of this LLDP agent. This parameter is a multiplier on the Transmit Interval that determines the actual TTL (Time To Live) value used in an LLDPDU. TTL = Hold Multiplier * Transmit Interval. This parameter indicates the delay between successive LLDP frame transmissions. This parameter indicates the amount of delay from LLDP becomes "disable" until re-initialization will be attempted. Configure the interval of Trap message which will be sent from local device to network management system. When the port's LLDP state transforms from Disable (or Rx_Only) to Tx&Rx (or Tx_Only), the fast start mechanism will be enabled, that is the transmit interval will be shorten to a second, and multiple LLDP frames will be sent out with the duration based on this parameter. 14.1.2 Port Config On this page you can configure all ports' LLDP parameters. 244

Parameters Config
Transmit Interval:
This parameter indicates the interval at which LLDP frames are
transmitted on behalf of this LLDP agent.
Hold Multiplier:
This parameter is a multiplier on the Transmit Interval that
determines the actual TTL (Time To Live) value used in an
LLDPDU. TTL = Hold Multiplier * Transmit Interval.
Transmit Delay:

Configure the interval of Trap message which will be sent from
local device to network management system.
Fast Start Count:
When the port's LLDP state transforms from Disable (or Rx_Only)
to Tx&Rx (or Tx_Only), the fast start mechanism will be enabled,
that is the transmit interval will be shorten to a second, and
multiple LLDP frames will be sent out with the duration based on
this parameter.
