Figure 6-4 Create or Modify 802.1Q VLAN The following entries are displayed on this screen: ¾ VLAN Config VLAN ID: Description: Check: Enter the ID number of VLAN. Give a description to the VLAN for identification. Click the Check button to check whether the VLAN ID you entered is valid or not. ¾ VLAN Members Port Select: Select: Port: Link Type: Egress Rule: Click the Select button to quick-select the corresponding entry based on the port number you entered. Select the desired port to be a member of VLAN or leave it blank. It's multi-optional. Displays the port number. Displays the Link Type of the port. It can be reset on Port Config screen. Select the Egress Rule for the VLAN port member. The default egress rule is UNTAG. • TAG: All packets forwarded by the port are tagged. The packets contain VLAN information. • UNTAG: Packets forwarded by the port 53
